I've been dragging my feet about posting bird photos since that fabulous trip to Texas in February. So, to jump start my photography again, I decided that I will blog "365 Days of Birds". I am hoping to take pictures everyday for the next year - and post my favorite from the day. I will not focus on the uniqueness of the subject, but on the love of photography and birds. So sometimes you may see multiple days of crows - and other times maybe a flamingo or quetzal. My intention is to open my eyes to the world around me and appreciate nature at that moment. No stress; no rules; just me, my camera, and my birds.
So, to start it off, here is a swallow that I was enamored with yesterday at Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island, WA. I love the color of the feathers when the sun hits them!
