  1. Looks like things settled down. Is that snow on the ground near the rosefinch? gah! Heading out to the cranes in the morning - latest count is 750k of them. I mean, really, how many cranes does anyone need?

    1. Yes, snow. It has been an unusually cold spell - they had so much snow, the road up the mountain was closed for a while! (Whoa - so many cranes!)
